I never believed in love at first sight. It never struck me as a teenager. I constantly smirked at typical Snowhite-infected girls who melted at a penetrating glance of Robert Pattinson, the modern version of Prince Charming. I was not mesmerized at the hello of the man who later became my husband. Yes, it takes me some time to process love, and it did take me long to detect the love of my life. But, luckily, logic does not solely dominate my decisions and actions.
Like every woman, I can be moved by an ultimately breathtaking gown; one that princess Jasmine would walk in with pride. And like every woman, I began to crave for Natthida's creation and imagine myself in it, as soon as it swayed the catwalk of the Casino in Knokke. Delicate nude tulle, mysterious transparencies and shiny paillettes embroidered over the intimate spots like specs of fairy dust created a beautiful sensation of purity. The body was covered and revealed at the same time with the nearly invisible underskirt running till the middle of the upper hip, giving the necessary decency and comfort. Nude gowns produced by luxury houses and top designers have been popular with celebrities in Cannes and Hollywood for some years now. The reason is quite clear to me: Nude - whether embellished with flowers, crystals, lace or paillettes - brings forward your own uniqueness because it is calm and projects the face, plus it draws focus on the skin as the eye constantly tries to discover the thin line between illusion and reality.
