Summertime in Belgium is the season when nature is at its best. And since we do not expect unbearably high temperatures here, the sun is friendly enough to grant us the joy of mix-matching Summer with Spring/Fall elements and wardrobe items.
For their SS18 we've seen designers plunge us into bold floral prints, D&G invite us to embrace the new gothic romantic with floral semi-transparent dresses accessorized with thick stud belts, Chanel insists on reinventing the tweed in pastels, and tartan prints thrive! Why not combine some of these trends just like Roberto Cavalli would? How about turning a classic Burberry scarf into a rose and wearing into round your neck over a long feminine black summer dress and edgy ankle peep-toe boots? Everything is allowed in Belgian Summer. Follow my steps and share my inspiration:

Step 1: Fold the scarf into a rectangle and roll it.
Step 2: Finish rolling and make sure the edges are symmetrical.
Step 3: Place the scarf round your neck and place the right part over the left one or the other way around, depending on the colors and prints of your scarf.
Step 4: Tie the scarf without a knot. Be careful to make the upper part shorter than the lower part.
Step 5: Open the folds of the upper part to create a flower effect.
Step 6: Turn the scarf round your neck, wherever you feel is more beautiful and match your lipstick to the prominent color of the bud. You have created a stunning contemporary vintage look!
