A day in our adult life: a race against time. A day in a child’s eyes: all the time in the world. A split second can last for a lifetime, while a whole hour can just flutter away in the blink of an eye. Relativity of time. Along with the greatest scientists of all time, this is what AEROWATCH stands for – though in a much more humanistic manner: “Although time is generally believed to be universally identical as a measurement, it is in fact a highly subjective element in our lives. The way we use it makes each of us unique. It is based on this philosophy that AEROWATCH has committed itself to crafting the famous timepieces on which it has built its reputation.” My recent discovery, a Swiss brand which has specialized in automatic wrist and pocket watches for both him and her since 1910, offers utter luxury and quality. For AEROWATCH, the value of quality is indubitable and non-debatable. For the tourbillon watch lover, the price is more than appealing. You can show off with a precision open heart beat, moon phase or skeleton watch for less than 2,000 Euros. And if this flabbergasts you, consider that in the general watch market prices can actually go ten times the amount.
Both classical and more contemporary-minded ladies and gentlemen can find their match in the new collections. Browsing through the numerable and quite multifaceted series, I came across certain outstanding pieces, which I would like to share with you. Perhaps, I would not wear all of the above and following picks myself, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to see them on the person with the right attitude and style. After all, our accessories should be wisely and instinctively chosen – never underestimate your heart's first reaction to a potential purchase - as an extension of our personality or mood.
Laurent Vanstechelman, promising spirited jewelry/watch designer and owner of Tempo D’ Oro in Maldegem, showcased the new collections at “Sparkles and Bubbles” by La Greca Blog at Hotel La Reserve in Knokke on 17th October 2015. As a new retailer of the brand in Belgium, he shared his passion for the singular design, detailed craftsmanship and innovation of AEROWATCH. And indeed, the guests seemed to effortlessly understand the source of Laurent’s enthusiasm. It’s not about telling the time. It’s all about making what YOU want of YOUR own time.
The most impressive of all? The Rennaissance Big Mechanical Skeleton models. Needless to say, these skeletons are definitely not to be kept in the closet.
